Hey Mom,
it rained here today for the first time in about 8 months.
Elder C is doing well again. when we get stressed out we start to clash. when things are good we are good friends.
im glad that everything went well with baby Will.
i can hardly believe that cory has a son. i guess that is how it goes and more and more people i know will have kids and get married and stuff. i remember that birthday party at the church and we made some kind of spider craft thing. it was fun times.
this week was a bit slow. greg was busy and couldnt make his appointment and we havent been able to meet with him. sammons had us for dinner this week. dinner was fun and it is easy to spend time with them and near impossible to teach them. they dont leave time for it when they have us for dinner so im going to say no more dinners at lessons.
had some good lessons with henry. while i was on exchange he gave Elder Catanach a referral for someone that is just outside our ward boundaries. we watched the restoration dvd with him and then we had a testimony meeting. his testimony is very strong and he has a great vision of what the Book of Mormon means and knows that he needs to be a missionary. he often observes that he easily could have never let us in and that it would be easier if members found us people to teach. he will be able to go to Church with us this week, hopefully. i keep praying that nothing will come up for him.
we had a good lesson with Paige this week. the ward bought her a quad and gave it to her at Church. we talked about the things that she needs to do to keep her testimony strong. we are working on transitioning to her home teachers. after i leave i dont think the missionaries need to continue to meet with her regularly.
we got to go to the temple today. that was a fantastic experience as always. ran into some people from Foothill ward. nobody that you know about prolly.
we have zone conference tommorow. excited about that.
have a good week. looking forward to the birthday stuff.
Love your favorite missionary,
Elder Taylor Barron
